This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in our Sheltered services. As our Housing and Property expert, you\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts for those over the age of 60 in our Sheltered housing scheme.

Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator

\xc2\xb7 Working In our independent housing scheme with residents over 60

\xc2\xb7 Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.

\xc2\xb7 Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.

\xc2\xb7 Where there is a need, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.

\xc2\xb7 Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you\xe2\x80\x99ll turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You bring

\xc2\xb7 Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties

\xc2\xb7 Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.

\xc2\xb7 Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues

\xc2\xb7 The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.

\xc2\xb7 A \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d positive attitude, you\xe2\x80\x99re proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.

\xc2\xb7 Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

Our team

You\xe2\x80\x99ll join Lis and our Sheltered housing team, and we\xe2\x80\x99re super passionate about what we do! We are spread out across London and the South East and yet we are all so close. We\xe2\x80\x99re a supportive bunch and like to meet up via \xe2\x80\x98Teams\xe2\x80\x99 every Wednesday for a catch up, to share ideas and pass on skills we have learnt!

Job details

\xc2\xb7 We\xe2\x80\x99re open to agreeing a work pattern with you between the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday

\xc2\xb7 You\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,

\xc2\xb7 You\xe2\x80\x99ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
