Job Description

Our Glasgow based client is a leading Housing Association that is looking for a Maintenance Officer to join their Maintenance Team to assist with Reactive Maintenance. The position is a full-time position for the next 4 months and will offer an immediate start, the role could last longer.

Working in the Reactive Maintenance team you will support the trades staff and contractors complete reactive maintenance activities. You will be involved with regular Pre and Post Inspections and the checking of repairs. The role will involve communications with the Housing Management Team and Tenants, you will be expected to provide advice, prioritise workloads for the team and coordinate with them to ensure delivery of works.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a background working in Housing Association Maintenance Teams or Property Maintenance contractors. You will display good communication and IT skills and have a working knowledge of Schedule of Rates for the Housing Sector. The position is initially temporary but it could develop to a longer term opportunity.
