Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Experience in the hotel or hospitality sector is highly desirable, as you will be responsible for upholding the high standards expected in these industries.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet established cleanliness standards. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Good communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and colleagues alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.45-12.73 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
