Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred, as this position requires a strong commitment to service excellence and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the establishment. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently, including lifting and moving items as required.
