Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitised. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required to provide a comfortable experience for guests. Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in a timely manner. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.

Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A background in hotel environments would be advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while managing time efficiently is essential.
