An exciting opportunity has become available for a Housekeeper on Ward 222 our Non Invasive ventilation Critical care Unit.
As a housekeeper, you will lead ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies. The work can include: talking to and reassuring patients. ordering non-clinical supplies. keeping the ward clean and tidy. You will assist in the smooth running of the ward by promoting a clean and healthy. Environment and be responsible for ensuring adequate stocks of consumables are maintained to meet service requirements and that all equipment within the department is clean and in good working order.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the environment and catering services meet the needs and expectations of Patients, Visitors and the Ward team. The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He or She will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance services, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. The post holder will monitor quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
