Ardverikie is a prominent Highland estate in Inverness-shire of 45,000 acres with an extensive tourism operation as well as renewable energy, forestry and sporting interests.
We are now recruiting for a couple to fulfil the roles of Part Time Holiday Cottage Housekeeper and Full Time Estate Maintenance Worker. Both workers will be expected to work Tuesday to Saturday as their normal hours.
The Housekeeper will join the team responsible for the cleaning and changeovers in our 8 luxury holiday cottages. There is also a requirement to assist with laundry duties for the estate holiday cottages. Most changeovers are on Fridays and Saturdays during summer, with additional weekdays at other times. Average of 20 hours per week. There is a possibility of this role expanding to full time hours if a suitable candidate was found to provide additional office administration support.
The Maintenance Worker will carry out a wide range of duties associated with a diverse highland estate. They will receive training in the operation and maintenance of the Hydro Electricity Scheme operating on the estate. They should, as a minimum, have the skills to use agricultural and estate machinery safely and effectively, as well as have knowledge in machinery maintenance and broad DIY skills that can be utilised for maintenance of the estate\'s property portfolio - joinery skills would be particularly useful.
Accommodation in the form of a comfortable semi-detached house on the estate is provided.
Closing Date 1st October 2023 - Previous applicants need not apply.
