Introduction
You will manage the Catering and Housekeeping departments, which will see you manage, train, and motivate the teams through supervision and appraisals, ensuring the necessary training is provided and undertaken.
As the Lead of Hotel Services, you will work across 2 of Elysium\'s sites, Three Valleys hospital in Keighley and Springwood Lodge in Guiseley. You will provide leadership and guidance as you ensure the departments are COSHH registered and will work alongside the Health and Safety Officer to undertake all risk assessments.
Ensure that any maintenance and servicing of catering and housekeeping equipment or the environment is reported to Facilities Manager/maintenance. Ensure departments meets both Elysium and EHO compliance.
You will be responsible for ensuring all relevant department documentation is completed in line with policy, manage rota\'s, produce menus to meet a varied healthy balanced diet to meet the nutritional needs of service users and complete monthly department audits to ensure high standards are maintained. You will also be require to cover chef at times when required to cover absences within the team.
You will prepare and manage the budgets for both departments at sites, ensuring that all costs remain within the annual agreed budget and any additional overspend is reported to the Hospital Directors.
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the teams to maintain high standards of their day-to-day duties, from maintaining a safe and clean space to creating warm and nutritional meals for staff, service users and visitors.
