Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Guest Services Intern/Trainee to join the team at a luxury hotel in vibrant Nashville, Tennessee. This J-1 Visa internship provides a unique opportunity for students and professionals to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. As a Guest Services Intern, you will play a central role in creating outstanding guest experiences, assisting with check-in/check-out procedures, managing guest requests, and providing local recommendations. This role offers an exciting chance to develop skills in hotel operations, customer relations, and service excellence, all while experiencing the cultural energy of Nashville.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations Respond to guest inquiries and special requests in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and Nashville attractions Maintain the hotel's commitment to excellence in guest services Handle guest concerns and resolve any issues to uphold service standards

Requirements:

5+ years of related work experience or

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary academic institution outside the U.S. or

Graduated within 12 months of the program start date with relevant work experience

Hotel/Hospitality experience preferred

Strong communication skills and fluency in English Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field wouk Friendly, adaptable, and guest-focused approach
