A day in the life of\xe2\x80\xa6As Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all. Ensure the Front Office Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments. Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.Based in the Mount Royal Hotel, Edinburgh you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn\'t always mean working around the clock.Newly refurbished for 2024, the Mount Royal Hotel will be our flagship property based on Princes Street, Edinburgh. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, overlooking Princes Street Gardens and across the gorge to Edinburgh Castle, the Mount Royal Hotel is ideally placed for making the most of Scotland\'s capital.
The hotel has got 169 bedrooms and a restaurant and bar to relax and enjoy a quiet drink or two.What do we need from you?To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards. Previous experience in a customer facing role will be essential.
