Macildowie are currently recruiting a Rooms Division Manager for a luxury company based in Melton Mowbray. The role will require the management of rooms, nights and housekeeping operations.

The position will include 3 direct line report, The Reception Manager, Night Manager and Head Housekeeper.

This is a permanent role, working 39 hours per week (flexibility required).

Responsibilities:

Operations and Administration tasks:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the rooms division and reception departments
• Ensure efficient and smooth functioning of all guest services, including reservations, check-in/out, guest relations, concierge, and housekeeping
• Provide guidance and support to approximately 150 indirect line reports to maintain high service standards and productivity
• Conduct audits of front of house areas
• Effectively responds to and resolves guest problems and complaints

Financial:

• Involved in management of department budgets and financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and revenue analysis
• Supports the forecasting of hours within departments and contributes to payroll management

Experience Sought in the successful candidate:

• Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years senior management experience
• Expertise working in the luxury hotel industry
• Experience working within boutique hotels
• Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team, ensuring a positive working environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders
