Job Description

Best Western Ship Hotel comprises of 75 guest bedrooms, events area, a restaurant, bar/lounge area and a courtyard.

We require an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated person to join our management team in the position of Hotel Duty Manager. This is a key role in the Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations in the Hotel. This person will help us to meet the company and guest's expectations, to encourage team work, loyalty and unity within the department, and enabling the hotel to operate at its highest standards and at maximum occupancy.

```Duties:```
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of The Hotel
- Coordinate and supervise staff, including housekeepers, maintenance workers, and other personnel
- Implement and ensure procedures are followed
- Ensure the security and safety of the Hotel
- Stock take and placing orders

```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a Hotel Duty Manager or in a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
