SUSHISAMBA celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an emphasis on bold flavours, the finest ingredients and artful presentations.

As part of the new W Hotel opening in the vibrant St James Quarter and with stunning views over the Scottish captial, our Edinburgh restaurant will be the latest beautiful restaurant to add to our current portfolio in Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Doha as well as planned openings in Bahrain and Riyadh.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At W Edinburgh be expected to welcome and assist all guests arriving and departing from SUSHISAMBA.

Joining the pre-opening team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel\'s opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate!

As Host/Hostess key aspects of your role will include:

- Be the face of the restaurant - the first and last impression the guest has of us!
- Welcome guests warmly and personally
- Give a fond farewell that encourages guests to return
- Ensure guests are seated correctly in the restaurant according to the floor plan
- Communicate any important guest information to the waiting team and management
- Work as part of a team
- Take responsibility for ensuring a seamless guest experience

W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a fa\xc3\xa7ade featuring a winding steel ribbon - reflecting the city\'s festival spirit - this 12-storey structure will be the centerpiece of Nuveen Real Estate\'s Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.

This W hotel aims to help redefine the city\'s hospitality landscape. Accordingly, it\'ll fuse the brand\'s signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what\'s new in design, fashion, music and culture.
