Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hostel Assistant to join our team. As a Hostel Assistant, you will play a vital role in the staff team and overall appearance of our facilities and engagement with our customers . This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and have a passion for providing exceptional service within the hospitality industry. Your contribution will ensure that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience during their stay.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards. Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with laundry services as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
