Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operational Services Managers on delegated tasks.
- Efficiently plan team members\' work schedules and resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate the team to achieve shared objectives.
- Prepare a variety of meals, snacks, salads, and sandwiches for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Accommodate specialised dietary requirements in line with pre-agreed menus, working closely with nursing staff and Health Board dieticians.
- Supervise catering assistants to ensure precise food preparation, regeneration, and service.
- Maintain strict food safety and quality standards through continuous monitoring of food temperature and adherence to safety protocols.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Food Preparation & cooking
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and willingness to complete Intermediate level 3 training
- Previous experience within the catering industry
- Day shift starting \xc2\xa310.42 per hour, with overtime available
- Pay increase after being in the role for 12 weeks.

Additional Benefits & Requirements
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
