To support the management in the day to day running of the facility. Manage the Hone and cutting areas directly. Assist in other areas when necessary.
Outline of Role and Responsibilities
Ensure the Hone and cutting equipment are ran safely and efficiently
Ensure general housekeeping and safety of the facility is kept to a high standard
Coordinate the receiving and dispatch of materials from the facility, ensuring all procedures are followed
Update Progress system (ERP) with the relevant production information as required
Ensure the production being carried out is to the production schedule/work to list
Assist in HSE activities as required
Assist in the coordination of labour and materials for the facility
Assist in any continuous improvement plans that are implemented.
Maintain the Quality standards required and report deviations in quality as required by our procedures.

A successful candidate shall need to be able to demonstrate that they have the skills and experience to be:
Can work efficiently and effectively as both part of a team or independently
Good communication and time management skills
Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure, working accurately and with attention to detail
Accepts responsibility and willing to take on new challenges
Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
Good technical knowledge with the ability to learn new process
Education and Experience:
Working in an engineering environment, welding and grinding.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to handle production and material movement paperwork
Forklift/counterbalance license.
Lifting and slinging.
