DetailsHome: Head OfficeLocation: Sharnbrook, BedfordshirePay details: \xc2\xa315.84 per hourPosted date: 01/05/2024Closing date: 12/05/2024We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Home Support Administrator to join our amazing Greensleeves Care Team at our care home, Sharnbrook House!Sharnbrook House is a stunning period care home, set in beautiful grounds complete with stunning landscaped gardens and its own lake which the residents can enjoy in all seasons. The home benefits from 30 comfortable bedrooms, spacious lounges and terraces, excellent programme of activities and home-cooked food.As our Home Support Administrator, you will provide an effective and professional administrative service for the Home Manager and team. You will carry out payroll and HR administration duties, including staff training and induction. You will also carry out recruitment administration as instructed by the Home Manager including advertising job vacancies on job boards and carrying out pre-employment checks.In the key role, you will also support the Home Manager to complete show arounds when potential clients make enquiries and you will process pre-admission, admission and discharge documents. You will also undertake purchase ledger responsibilities including ordering, reconciliation of delivery notes and payment of invoices, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.What You\'ll Need

  • Demonstrable experience of undertaking general administration duties within a busy environment, ideally within a healthcare setting
  • Administration experience in a process driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of Recruitment and Selection procedures
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly in response to changing business needs
  • Accurate and always works with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work using your initiative
  • Good written and oral skills for communication and understanding.
  • Excellent skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
