The Role

We are working with a well established and highly reputable care home provider who operate a remit of homes across Scotland and are now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their small care homes in Edinburgh. In recent years the company have succeeded in establishing themselves as a financially stable provider that offer high quality care to longstanding private clients and boast an impressive run of compliant services in line with the Care Inspectorate requirements.

The home has an excellent reputation with the local community, local authority and the care Inspectorate, as well as other external stakeholders that add value to the already successful service. Now it\'s time for a new leader to take the reins and grow the occupancy as well as the day to day quality of care in the home.

The Candidate
The successful candidate must have management experience and ideally have managed an elderly care home near Edinburgh.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location
This role is based on the outskirts of Edinburgh and is commutable from Livingstone, Galashiels & Lanark, .

Interview Process
The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.
