Camlo Homes is a 20 bed residential care home for Mental health/Learning disability. We are based on the Ormeau Road. Camlo is a privately run family run home. Camlo is currently seeking a care assistant for Day shift/Night shift (willing to do both shift patterns if needed) Duties to include:

• Assist service users with personal care, meals, medication, shopping and appointments
• Interacting with our residents on a personal level
• Support & encourage residents to maintain their independence with daily living;
• Encouraging independence as much as possible;
• Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care Plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs.
• Be understanding and patient towards residents and their needs;
• To respect and maintain confidentiality of resident\xe2\x80\x99s personal information at all times.
• Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant.
• Keeping a close eye on the residents during the night, hourly checks.

Requirements:

• Ability to work as part of a team and individually;
• Strong communication skills;
• Caring nature;
• Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of Residents;;
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally;
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload under pressure;
• A flexible and pro-active individual able to work in a team;
• The right to live and work in the UK.

Schedule:

• Monday to Sunday
• Shifts patterns can vary
• Weekend availability

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: Up to \xc2\xa310.71 per hour Expected hours: 18 \xe2\x80\x93 33 per week Benefits:
