We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our close knit team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in panel machining using HOMAG or similar systems to produce cut panels for cabinet production. This role involves optimising cutting lists, jobs and working as efficiently as possible to ensure the smooth running of the production process. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
Strict adherance to company policies regarding processes and health and safety
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and workflow.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Document production activities accurately as required.
Requirements
Proficiency in using CNC machinery
Familiarity with panel machining processes and techniques.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
