A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an an enthusiastic Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA), for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at our client\'s Academy. The successful candidate will support the development of a school wide provision that will remove barriers to students with social, emotional and mental health and maximise student participation and progress by delivering a whole school restorative approach to conflict through an understanding of child development and the impact traumatic experiences and disordered attachment have on students and their behaviours.
You will work alongside teachers and students both inside and outside of mainstream classrooms, you may be also asked to support the discreet Student Support Centre and the Reflection Room. You will be expected to work closely with the SENDCO and the Lead SEMH Mentor in supporting continuity of expectations in behaviour and learning throughout the school.
