Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch Saturday 8am - 12pm (one in every five)

Up to 40K (depending on experience)

Purpose:

We are looking for a Hire Controller to join our friendly team based at our Strood Depot in Kent. This is an important role within the depot as the Hire Controller is the central "cog" that joins the various functions of the depot together (maintenance, logistics and hire) Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth facilitation of hire contracts with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Working closely with both the Operations Manager and Service Team your role is to ensure all of our customers receive the highest level of service possible, whilst ensuring depot profit levels are maintained. You will be processing both on and off hires, making customer service calls, managing hire orders with clients ensuring a high standard of service. You will be required to liase with other H E Services depots and departments on a daily basis to ensure that our customer's needs are met. You will be involved in all related administration, invoice query management and resolving customer queries, ordering of stock and equipment and booking of agencies to attend machine breakdowns. A confident telephone manner will ensure you are able to promote the Company's range of products and services, generate new leads and build lasting relationships with our clients.

Skills/Qualifications:

Previous hire experience is essential Methodical and organised Good attention to detail. Confident but friendly communication skills (both written and verbal) Team orientated Good standard of English and Maths to GCSE (or equivalent) standard IT literate Able to work under pressure Comfortable working alone on projects or as part of a team. Self motivated and proactive
