About The RoleWorking Hours: 35 Hours per weekContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentAdditional Payments: Casual Car User AllowanceClosing Date: 29 April 2025Closing Time: 11:59pmInterview Method: In Person (Face to Face)This role is subject to -2 References - where possible we require 3 years' employment history.Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.Driving Licence xe2x80x93 The successful candidate should hold a full clean driving licence as you will be required to drive a vehicle adhering to council regulations.The role holder will ensure the necessary process and permits are in place to enable planned and reactive works to take place in line with legislation and health and safety requirements. The post holder will need to have a keen eye for detail and effective stakeholder management skills in order to manage and influence internal stakeholders and contractors via the supply chain.The role holder will provide a professional, customer focused, specialist technical service which enables the delivery of organisational objectives and provides a high quality service to customers in line with both internal guidelines, policies and procedures and statutory requirements.The role holder will support the delivery of a range of technical projects, initiatives or work packages that comply with relevant legislation and help achieve the Councilxe2x80x99s corporate aims and objectives.The role holder will support the highways inspectors, ensuring inspections are carried out in a timely manner, systems are updated and outcomes confirmed.The role holder will use their technical knowledge and expertise to develop, design and implement customer-focused solutions for the assigned service area.
