Responsibilities

As a Highways Maintenance Apprentice, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.

Your day to day will include:

• Working across several highways depots in the region
• Providing routine maintenance and ensuring continued operation of roads, tunnels, and bridges in the area
• Other activities such as kerbing, concrete work and laying asphalt

You will also study for a Level 2 Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative qualification with support from our experienced teams \xe2\x80\x93 giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
