HGV Technician | Covering Hampshire | c60k OTE plus pa + Benefits + Van

Due to sustained growth, I am looking to recruit an experienced and qualified or certified HGV / Agriculture Technician to join busy and well run UK agriculture, plant maintenance and repair company.

The area to be covered is the Hampshire / Sussex and parts of Surrey, which is a well managed area, that offers lots to expand upon.

The company is established, is proactive, and has a wide area customer base that is well maintained.

Job Requirements;

Previous proven experience, and stable employment in am agriculture engineering post, e.g. worked on tractors, combine harvesters, trailer, etc, etc Be qualified or hold certification for Mechanics A professionally recognised qualification in plant maintenance and repair Excellent communication & organisational skills A good working knowledge of petrol, diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems Experience working on Agricultural Machinery and Equipment - Tractors, Combines, Sprayers and Balers etc

Duties;

Carry out scheduled service maintenance and repairs on-site and at the depot Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on all types of farm machinery Complete pre-delivery inspections Attend manufacturers' training courses Complete job stories and hours using iPhone Utilise laptop diagnostics and service systems Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers Repair & locate faults with equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and in a timely fashion to ensure minimum downtime Service equipment in line with manufacturers' recommendations Some workload will be carried out at Workshop

Monday to Friday + Overtime available for midweek and weekends.
