HGV Technician - Haydock

Salary: \xc2\xa347,500 + Overtime
Hours: 4 on 4 off 6pm-6am Nights

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop in Haydock

This is an opportunity for a HGV technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.
My client needs someone who is driven, hard-working and has proven experience. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career.

The HGV Technician involves:

\xc2\xb7Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
\xc2\xb7Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
\xc2\xb7Twelve weekly inspections.
\xc2\xb7Preparation for MOT.
\xc2\xb7Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
\xc2\xb7Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
\xc2\xb7Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
\xc2\xb7Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
\xc2\xb7Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
\xc2\xb7To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.

Required for this HGV Technician role:

\xc2\xb7Level 3 (NVQ or IMI) or Time served
\xc2\xb7HGV technician is essential.
\xc2\xb7Driving License Class 1 ad 2
\xc2\xb7Trailer experience
\xc2\xb7Diagnostic experience
