About Us:

North Air is responsible for providing into-plane refuelling services on behalf of major oil companies. At our Aberdeen and Inverness site we have a fleet of 13 refuelling vehicles that require maintenance and repair, in addition to GA locations.

Salary & Benefits:

45,000 basic + Overtime + 7.5% bonus (OTE 50,000+) plus company van.

Your Role:

Working alongside another mechanic, you will maintain our fleet of aircraft refuelling vehicles (7.5t to 44,000ltr) at our Aberdeen, Inverness and surround GA locations; through planned and reactive maintenance. You will also be involved in stock management, commissioning new vehicles and ensuring the workshop and fleet adheres to safety standards.

This role is 37.5 hours per week and requires weekend working at peak times.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

2+ years post-apprenticeship HGV mechanic experience Recognised HGV maintenance & repair qualification Familiarity with computerised Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) Strong teamwork and organisational skills; ability to work independently to deadlines and manage workload Safety awareness Clean criminal record and checkable work history (for airside pass)

Desirable:

HGV Class 1 or 2 (C+E) Licence although desirable, training will be provided and funded. Permit to Work knowledge Practical understanding of vehicle pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems Understanding of Engineering Management of Change and Control of Work principles
