HGV Technician for a Truck & Bus Dealership in Haywards Heath, West Sussex

• Basic Salary up to \xc2\xa341,000 + OT/Bonus
• Monday - Friday Week 1 06:00 - 15:00 & Week 2, 13:00 - 20:00
• Saturdays 1 in 2 06:00 - 13:00- Paid at Time & half

Our Client a Multi-Site Franchised Commercial vehicle dealership are currently seeking an HGV Technician for their dealership near Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

The Client is a well-respected dealership and the HGV Technician vacancy is due to the expansion of their existing work force. Our Client provides an extensive training progressions, a competitive salary. They have a been building a team with a good ethos, providing a friendly place to work where you are treated as an individual rather than a number.

They are seeking a qualified HGV Technician, preferably with Main Dealer experience.

What\'s in it for you as a HGV Technician with our client?

• A Basic Salary of up to \xc2\xa344,000
• Working Hours: 42 \xc2\xbd hours per week. Alternating early and late shift, Monday - Friday. 6 am - 3 pm one week, and 1 pm to 10 pm the following week. Alternate Saturdays paid at time and half 6 am - 1 pm
• An IRTEC qualification
• Overtime paid at time and half
• Salary commensurate with skill level
• 31 days\' holiday includes bank holidays. Rising to 33 with service

Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:

• MOT preparation, repairing, diagnosing, servicing and maintaining heavy good vehicles to a high standard.
• Carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer\'s procedures within standard times set
• Working on modern vehicles
• Working alongside a skilled team of Technicians.
• A high regard to H&S.

What our Client expects of their HGV Technician:

• Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent) Qualified at NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent (heavy vehicles)
• Experienced and able to undertake all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair to a high standard.
• Have a high regard to producing quality workmanship
• Be able to work in a high paced environment
• Own tool kit
• Current car driving licence (HGV & PSV desirable but not essential)
• Able to write up job cards concisely.
