Shift Supervisor
Our busy Bristol Dealership based in Avonmouth is currently looking for an experienced HGV Technician Supervior with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work on a the rotating shift:- 06.00-14.30 and 14.00-22.00 with alternating Saturday\'s 06.00-12.00
40 hours paying up to \xc2\xa321.50 pr hr (up to \xc2\xa344,700) + overtime paid at time and a half above 44 hours
We are also offering as signing bonus of \xc2\xa32000 payable after a successful 3 month probation period
We offer IRTEC & IVR qualifications via our inhouse training school and the opportunity to gain a Heavy Goods Licence.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Electrical fitting of accessories
- Carrying out pre-Mot vehicles inspections to a high standard
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
- Participation in call out and breakdown rota
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately
- C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
- Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean Driving Licence - HGV would be an advantage
