Overview
We are a family run business, due to an increased workload we are seeking a skilled HGV Driver. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving. We are looking for a friendly team player that can positively contribute to the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Shunting to and from the Port of Felixstowe (other ports may be required on occasion)
- Multidrop deliveries or hub runs to a pallet network depot may occasionally be required
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
- Hold a valid driving licence for lorries
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Ability to drive long distances while adhering to road safety regulations
Salary / Hours
Salary is open to negotiation and dependent upon experience.
Please note position is with monthly pay. We are also accepting applications for day or night drivers. Trampers also welcomed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 38,000.00-45,000.00 per year
