Job Description
We\'re looking for a van driver (cat B) working out of Aberdare, working for a local elecrical wholesaler. Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm. No weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company van to deliver electrical products to our customers in and around South Wales.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of products, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Knowledge of Aberdare and the surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy products.
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
