Job Description
The Best Connection are working with our prominent Middlesbrough based client to source additional day shift LGV C+E (Class 1) DAY SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
- There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available*
- Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
- 07.00 start time Monday to Friday
- There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
- The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
- All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
- Achieving delivery slots
- Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
- C+E (Class One) Licence
- In date CPC and DIGI Card
- Experience using extendable "skelly" trailers
- \xc2\xa323.93 per hour for hours worked Sunday & Bank Holidays
- \xc2\xa317.81 per hour after 45 hours worked per week
- \xc2\xa313.36 per hour basic rate for first 45 hours worked
- Modern well maintained fleet
