We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role involves operating curtain sided/flatbed lorries, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism on the road.

Responsibilities

Daily walk through checks, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Safely operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 years driving experience. Candidate must be 25 years or older. Valid commercial driving licence (C+E category) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with curtain sided/flatbed experience. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good physical fitness, as the role involves loading and unloading cargo/goods. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Tramping work, day/night shift, weekend shifts available.
