Job Description
J Witt Waste Recycling are recruiting HGV Class 2 Driver to operate a dustcart to join our friendly team in a fast paced, customer focused, local waste management company. The role involves driving Monday to Friday as part of our fleet of dustcarts across Somerset.
Our dustcart drivers leave our Waste Transfer Station at 4am driving a variety of commercial recycling and commercial general waste routes collecting from business premises. Most routes will see drivers return between 11.00am -1pm.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Driving and operate waste collection vehicles, primarily with effective safe and efficient driving techniques in line with company requirements. Ensuring the highest possible standard of service is consistently provided to customers. Liaising with and reporting to the office and management on a daily basis Experience of driving Dustcart vehicles is preferred, although if you have a clean Class 2 licence, please do apply as further training is available should you be the right person for the role
Requirements:
HGV Class 2 Licence Experience driving a Dustcart and rear-steer vehicles Able to follow and adhere to company regulations and health and safety rules. You must be able to represent the business in the appropriate manor Have a good work ethic Be a clear communicator
