Uniserve, a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team. Our drivers are integral to our business, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of products to our valued customers. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday

occasional nights out maybe required

Salary: 35,000 annual

We also have a bonus scheme of 2000 paid quarterly based on certain criteria to be discussed.

Key Responsibilities

:

Complete daily vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness. Report vehicle defects immediately, following company protocols. Assist in the loading and unloading of company vehicles. Report any customer complaints to the Transport team promptly. Ensure compliance with all current EU road transport regulations. Safely secure freight for transit, avoiding overloading by weight or capacity. Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and security of the vehicle when unattended. Undertake other duties on-site when not engaged in the primary role.

Key Skills/Experience

:

Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 2 minimum license. Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card) and actively maintains qualifications. Holds a Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on your license. Commercial driving experience. Proficient in reporting customer complaints and vehicle defects following company procedures. ADR awareness or full ADR training is desirable but not essential.
