Job Description
Monster Mix Limited are a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete throughout Gloucestershire. We are based on Eastern Avenue, Gloucester and cover a 30-mile radius.
We are looking for a full-time, experienced HGV Class 2 Driver . Although mixer experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Drivers must be physically fit with a Polite friendly manner and have a can do attitude. We pride ourselves on delivering an unrivalled service to customers from point of order to delivery.
The successful candidate will be expected to work 50/hr per week, Monday to Friday and every other Saturday Morning.
All tasks must be completed whilst adhering to Road Transport legislation and fulfilling the Company's obligations.
Tasks and duties will include:
carrying out routine vehicle checks
making sure that the load is correctly placed
driving and operating one of our volumetric concrete mixers
cleaning and basic maintenance of your vehicle
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
have at least one-year HGV Class 2 experience
hold a valid DCPC and Category C licence
be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
have a friendly enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
be capable and confident in your ability
