Summary

We are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Shunter driver / Yardman to join our dynamic team at TC Transports UK. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard activities, contributing to our mission of providing efficient and reliable transportation services.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles in the yard. Ensure that all vehicles are parked safely and efficiently within the designated areas. Swapping trailers onto dessignated bays. Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment and report any issues. Coordinate with drivers to facilitate timely deliveries and pickups. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area. Support the logistics team in managing inventory and storage needs.

Job Requirements:

You must have at least 2 years experience shunting You can not have any more than 6 points on your license You will need a full CPC and Tacho card You need to have good verbal and written communications skills You will have to complete an assessment for this role at the client site.
