Hgv Class 1 Or Class 2 Driver Hiab
Job Description
We are looking for a class 2 hiab truck driver to undertake our daily deliveries.
class 1 is ideal as sometimes it could be a wagon and drag, although this is not regular.
You will be delivering turf and topsoil to domestic customers and to building sites.
Working Hours are 7:30-4:30, with this being a seasonal job there will be more hours in summer and sometimes you will be expected to work past 5 o'clock. You will be paid at the same hourly rate for the hours you do.
Being able to turn a hand to a different sort of job and doing whatever is needed at the time is essential as winter months are much quieter.
Agricultural back ground is desired but not essential
Sometimes Loading of your own lorry using a forklift truck.
Manual labour to stack some pallets of turf will be required when loading.
Most importantly, you must be able to work as a team and help each other.
If customers enter the yard while the truck is being loaded, a friendly face and good manners is necessary.
Self employed drivers 17 per hour
