HGV Class 1 - Bridgwater
We are currently recruiting for Temporary HGV Class 1 drivers for our depot in Bridgwater. This is based on a on-going contract running between June - September. Potential oppurtunity for Permanent position for the right candidates.The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, up to 15 drops per day with Tail lift and cages. Various shifts available.
Shift Patterns Available:
0130 - 0430 Friday - Monday
0130 - 0430 Thursday - Monday
1200 - 1600 Tuesday - Friday
1200 - 1600 Tuesday - Friday
1200 - 1600 Thursday- Sunday
1200 - 1600 Friday- Monday
Day pay rates:
Monday - Friday 15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs 17.85) Saturday 17.85 Sunday and Bank Holidays 23.80
Nights pay rates:
Monday - Friday 18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs 20.39) Saturday 20.39 Sunday and Bank Holidays 27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
In date DIGI and CPC card Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. Willing to work weekends. Motivated and open to learn new skills. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refuelling vehicles. The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
