Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations throughout both Northern Ireland and ROI. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, particularly with curtainside vehicles. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Operate curtainside Class 1/2 lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle is upheld at all times.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) Must have up to date CPC/Driver Card. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards on the road.

Pay will be negotiated and agreed at the interview.

Pay: 672.00-709.00 per week
