Based in Leeds, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a leading refrigeration and air conditioning group.

Beijer Ref UK & Ireland is a leading group of refrigeration and air conditioning wholesalers, with a network of 47 branch outlets supported by two centralised distribution centres. The group comprises four wholesalers:

Your Role:

As a Heating Project Engineer, you will:

Provide high-quality pre-sales and after-sales technical support to sales teams and customers for large applications and projects, including VRF and heat pumps. Specify and select air conditioning and heat pump products from the company portfolio and prepare high-quality quotations using technical and quotation tools. Promote good design and engineering standards, particularly for the mechanical and water side of systems. Support Application Engineers and other teams with equipment selection. Deliver remote technical support and attend site visits when necessary. Take ownership of technical and product management issues for designated products or technical subjects. Stay updated on market developments and assist in evaluating and introducing new products. Provide training and presentations to enhance technical knowledge across the business. Influence sales strategies and participate in meetings as required.
What We're Looking For:

Experience in mechanical/water heating engineering and/or heat pump systems is essential. A technically minded individual with expertise in VRF and heat pump applications. Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach. Proficiency with technical tools and software (SAP & 3DD experience is a plus). A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
