Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team Full & Part time hours available. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, personal care adhering to the residents care plans, and fostering effective communication with both patients and healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate effectively with patients to understand their needs and provide emotional support. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the senior staff members. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in IT systems relevant to patient care documentation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Familiarity with developing and maintaining care plans is beneficial. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Previous experience of managing patient records and documentation efficiently.
