We are now looking for a Health & Safety Co-Ordinator to join our fantastic team. The role will be based at the company's Head Office in Northwich.


The role involves helping to develop, implement, and monitor Health and Safety Administrative processes to ensure the efficiency and quality of the service delivered by the team. It will require visits to sites and occasional overnight stays. The applicant must have a can-do attitude and the ability to work using their own initiative. IOSH qualification is desirable.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities



Drive safety culture Maintaining SSIP accreditations Filing and logging of Safety Observation Cards Monitor, and maintain incident trackers Monitoring and updating EHS action tracker Maintaining asset registers Monitor and maintain H&S training records File and record H&S training File and record branch compliance records Oversee CSCS applications and CITB tests Monitoring H&S device trackers Assisting with incident investigation Assist with safety audits COSHH system management Support with EHS communication, monitoring and updating of compliance trackers Update third parties with insurance details and other necessary documentation as required File and record PPE and asset allocations Review and maintain training matrix and safety competence register Cross reference invoicing against tools on fleet invoices Managing safety documentation and distributing to branches Working closely with HR admin for new starter inductions Directing safety enquiries to Health and Safety Officer Ensuring safety documents are in shared folders are held up to date Take reasonable care of the Health and Safety of yourself and that of any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work. Ensure as far as is necessary, that Statutory Requirements, Codes of Practice, Policies and Procedures, and Health and Safety arrangements are complied with. Demonstrate and uphold the Company's values, of honesty, integrity, reliability, and teamwork To promote and embed these values in all elements of work and in interactions with colleagues, customers, visitors, and others.
