Your Role

As the HEOR Lead you are responsible for the development and execution of high quality HEOR strategic activities to support optimal reimbursement and market access for LEO Pharma\'s innovative portfolio, with a focus on delivering robust evidence demonstrating the value of the product and successfully impacting business objectives.

You will independently deliver strategic thinking from an HEOR perspective in support of our innovative portfolio and you will also support:

This role will be based in Maidenhead with options to work from home up to 3 days per week.

  • Delivery of successful Health Technology Appraisals: Manage the full cross functional process of UK and Ireland HTA submissions from feasibility analysis through to dealing with outcomes post submission
  • Evidence Generation: Strategically generate robust Real World evidence, forward planning to generate payer evidence that further strengthens the value proposition of LEO brands. Lead the development of appropriate data dissemination plans and communicate evidence generated via publications, conference presentations, and other appropriate channels
  • Develop and implement innovative materials and tools for use by the field teams that demonstrate the brands value proposition
  • Develop and maintain a network of key national, regional and local NHS/HSE stakeholders who influence market access
You will have a project management mindset and understand the bigger picture whilst being able to share your thinking and work with stakeholders proactively in this highly technical role.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Essential Requirements
  • Degree in biomedical science, business, quantitative disciplines or economics.
  • Formal post-graduate degree (or equivalent applied work) in health economics or a related quantitative discipline, and work experience.
  • Launch experience, preferably in the UK, having worked at a senior level within a health economic consultancy, HTA agency, or several years in a pharmaceutical company
  • Strong understanding & experience of UK & Irish HTA submission processes
  • Proven track record of generation and publication of real-world evidence for market access.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters in a clear, compelling and impactful way with others via a range of media
  • Project management of multidisciplinary teams (including external providers)
  • Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Ability to take initiative, work within existing management structure, and to consistently deliver high-quality work
Desirable Requirements
  • Global launch experience and global payer evidence development experience.
  • Substantial dermatology or other specialty medicine experience
  • Experience of operating in a cross functional matrix environment
  • Project management qualification, PMP, PRINCE2 etc.
As a person you are able to influence without authority and enjoy collaborating with a wider team. You are a proactive team member with excellent presentation skills and you are able to communicate technical HEOR concepts to all levels.

Your new team

You will report to the Head of Market Access, Communications & External Affairs joining a vibrant and highly motivated team. You will work with UK Affiliate colleagues both in head office and field based, whilst also partnering closely with Global HEOR and Market Access teams. You will play a vital role in bringing pipeline assets through HTA and will therefore also work closely with commercial and brander leadership teams.
