Health Care Assistant/general Practice Assistant
Job Description
Our friendly two site surgery is seeking a Health Care Assistant/General Practice Assistant to join our expanding and well established Nursing team.
Our main surgery is located in the heart of the city centre alongside Corpus Christi College. Our branch surgery is in a new purpose built healthcare centre located in the nearby village of Trumpington. The role offers opportunity to work across both sites and parking is available at both locations.
The successful candidate will support the smooth running of clinics by handling routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GPs. The candidate should ideally be an experienced phlebotomist with a minimum of 6 months experience. Clinical duties will also include basic wound care, urinalysis, blood pressure readings and ECG's. However experience in these skills is preferred, but not mandatory, as training can be provided.
We are offering a full-time position, ideally over 4 days a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 25,079.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
