Position: Health and Safety / transport Manager

Location: Perth

Salary: \xc2\xa330,000 - \xc2\xa340,000

Hours: Monday - Friday

This role will primarily focus on ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our operations, with approximately twenty percent of the role dedicated to overseeing transport, including both Class 1, Class 2 lorries and LCV and logistics. If you have a strong background in health and safety management, coupled with extensive experience in transport and logistics, we want to hear from you.

Health and Safety / transport Manager duties:

• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system across our depots and operations.

• To improve performance through the implementation and development of health and safety management systems and other current standards and legislation.
• Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence required standards and legislation.
• Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety awareness through the group.
• To oversee consistency of delivery of health and safety and identify and pursue significant issues.Oversee transport operations, including the management of Class 1 and Class 2 lorries, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistical operations, ensuring efficient transportation and timely deliveries

Health and Safety / transport Manager Experience required

• Extensive experience in health and safety management, ideally within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and requirements, including Class 1 and Class 2 lorries.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Relevant qualifications in health and safety management or a related field.
