We are committed to fostering a culture that never compromises on safety standards.Role Purpose: As a Health and Safety Support Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our safety standards and driving a culture of safety awareness. You will work closely with the Health and Safety Team and the wider business to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Where will you be located?Working on a hybrid basis, you'll be conveniently located to attend out Northwich office up to 3 times a week, dependant on business needs, with the rest of the time working from homeKey Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Health & Safety in developing and implementing the safety and risk management program.
  • Support accident investigations, gather witness statements, and provide information to implement preventative measures.
  • Maintain incident records and liaise with managers to ensure timely action on safety issues.
  • Review and amend data in the reporting system to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual safety reports.
  • Act as a super-user and administrator for the team's online platforms.
  • Provide support to operational teams on safety issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Educate and influence employees on safety standards and safe operations.
  • Support the delivery of safety standards and processes to maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) in line with legislation and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness through training programs, communication channels, and regular safety meetings.
Skills and Experience:
  • Essential: Experience in health and safety, preferably in a multi-site organisation.
  • Essential: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Essential: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
  • Preferred: National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) or commitment to obtaining this qualification.
  • Preferred: Experience within the property sector.
  • Preferred: Forward-thinking approach to safety management while recognizing the importance of traditional standards.
  • Preferred: Enthusiastic about developing industry knowledge.
