Principal People are looking for a Health and Safety Manager who is looking to work for a national logistics company who have a keen eye on personal and professional development.

This position will be based out of a newly developed site in Stevenage and the role will be extremely operational and will offer you healthy challenges as you grow your Health and Safety Career.

You will be working closely with the Head of Health and Safety who is new to the business and will have a big focus on developing her team.

The key duties include:

• Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety including risk assessments and auditing
• To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites
• Creating positive relationships with the sites to help improve the HSE Culture across the site
• Improving the buy in and support to HSE across the site
• Creating and implementing new HSE initiatives
