Health & Safety Consultant
to join our team and support the delivery of safe, compliant construction environments across our projects.
Role Overview
This full-time, position is ideal for a graduate looking to build a career in health and safety within the construction industry. You'll work closely with the site and project management teams to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, risk assessments are carried out, and documentation is properly maintained. You will be required to carry out site visits.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies across projects
Conduct site inspections and audits alongside the project team
Help prepare risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and health and safety reports
Support the management of HSE documentation and records
Keep up-to-date with UK health and safety legislation and best practices
Work with internal teams to promote a culture of safety
Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within construction, architecture, or surveying
A degree in Health and Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health, or a related field
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in health and safety within the construction industry
Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations (some practical exposure or coursework desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and methodical approach
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Full UK driving licence - essential (company vehicle provided for site visits)
