Health & Safety Advisor

to join our dedicated H&S team. This role offers the flexibility of remote working while taking a visible, hands-on approach across a variety of live sites.

About the Role:

As a H&S Advisor, you will be responsible for:


Taking an active and visible role within our health and safety team via site visits, safety meetings, and more. Ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported and investigated promptly and thoroughly. Conducting scheduled site inspections and supporting timely resolution of any safety concerns. Championing our accident and incident reduction programme, promoting near miss and hazard reporting using our smart H&S platform. Providing expert advice to WJ staff, clients, and stakeholders on health and safety matters. Supporting company-wide H&S activities including new site mobilisations and events. Delivering health and safety training sessions where required. Assisting the H&S Manager in day-to-day operations and special projects.

What we are looking for:

Strong health and safety experience, ideally within the construction sector. Solid understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations and behavioural safety principles. NEBOSH Health & Safety or Construction Certification. Valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. A calm and confident approach in high-pressure situations. Strong team player with a high standard of personal presentation and professional reliability.
